This application serves as a tool to assist individuals and groups in preparing for, obtaining relief, and recovering from individual and widespread emergencies and disasters.

The app has two specific purposes:

1. Individual safety and rescue
2. Preparation, relief, and recovery from large-scale disasters such as floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes.

The app achieves this by providing users with a no-cost alert safety and accountability system and an integrated view of the area's capabilities so they can effectively prepare for, survive, communicate during, and recover from emergencies or disasters.

1. INDIVIDUAL SAFETY AND RESCUE
   • Active Shooter Response: This feature automatically identifies the user's location when activated, sending an automated message to designated contacts in case of an active shooter situation or lockdown. It ensures discreet notifications without revealing the user's location.
   • Emergency Notification & Accountability: Upon activation, this button sends the user's location to designated contacts, signaling an emergency phone call. It provides a subtle way to inform contacts about emergencies without alerting potential aggressors.
   • Accountability: Users can share their location with designated contacts to ensure accountability during emergencies, crucial for scenarios where team leaders need real-time status updates on multiple individuals.
   • Suicide, Drug Abuse, or Domestic Abuse Intervention: In situations where personal safety is at risk due to suicidal thoughts, substance abuse concerns, or abusive environments, this function facilitates direct intervention by sponsors or loved ones through prior coordination.

1. PREPARE, RELIEF & RECOVERY FROM DISASTERS
   • Free Provider Function: This feature offers users an overview of no-cost services available in their area during emergencies. These services include provisions like food, water, shelter, medical care, as well as accommodations for household pets or large animals.
   • Vendors: Users can access a range of services in their vicinity essential for disaster preparedness, relief efforts, or recovery processes. These services encompass areas such as debris removal, DIY assistance, financial and legal support, alongside vital supplies like food and shelter.
   • Helpful Sites: Serving as a comprehensive resource hub for related apps aiding in preparedness and recovery from emergencies and disasters. This feature streamlines the app usage experience by providing a centralized platform for necessary tools.
   • Large Scale Collaboration: This free text feature enables communities and organizations to communicate effectively before, during, and after disasters. Its primary goal is to facilitate resource-sharing among various entities to ensure timely delivery of essential aid.
   • Question and Answer Forum: Real-time asynchronous capabilities allowing global users to seek information or guidance regarding the app or ongoing relief operations.
   • This app is not intended to replace existing public, private, governmental, or non-governmental procedures. Instead, it functions as a medium to enhance communication, knowledge exchange between users of the app enabling independent or collective actions in collaboration with organizations to safeguard lives.
